Celebration of Music - Talent Search

Natalie Laing is a very interesting and charismatic person. She has been singing all genres of music since she was eight years old. Some of her most admired artists are Frank Sinatra, Earth Wind & Fire, Celine Dion, Sarah Brightman, and Barbra Streisand. She truly has an “old soul” as some would say. Natalie recently attended American Heritage. The reason for her application to that school was to start working towards a career in music. Once she got accepted, she auditioned for the fall play, The Odd Couple (female version). She was blessed with receiving the role of Olive Maddison. She also became the secretary for the Junior Thespians club and joined the All-State Choir. She received superiors in all of her performances having to do with Thespians, Solo-Ensemble, and All-State Choir. In the spring, she auditioned for the spring musical, Little Women. She received the role of Jo March. This musical and role led her to receiving the award Lead Actress in a Musical 2015. She hopes and prays that she may create a career out of doing the thing that she loves. She hopes that she may make her dreams become a reality.
