My name is Victoria Sharp, I am sixteen-years-old and go to Fargo South High School. I have been playing piano for ten years and continue to find more and more to love about music every day. I have also played the violin in my school’s orchestra since the fifth grade, where I have made many friends. My two sisters, Gabby and Mya, are also musical, both involving themselves in orchestra and piano in the past. I grew up listening to my mom and my aunt play the piano, which made me interested in playing music from a young age. One of the most amazing experiences I have related to music is playing for the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto, Canada) certification program. Hearing their feedback helps me critique myself and really evaluate the pieces I perform. My favorite pieces to play are romantic and full of expression, but withroomfor me to make it my own. I perform best when I canconnect withthe piece itself and express myself through the music. Aside from music, I enjoy art and hanging out with my friends. I want to go to college at NDSU and eventually go to law school in hopes of becoming a lawyer.
